Wouldn’t I be better off hiring an in-house bookkeeper?

In most cases, no.  Finding a full time employee to serve as your bookkeeper can be time consuming and extremely costly for small business owners.  You have to advertise for the position, run background checks, negotiate a salary, hire, train, and manage them. 

Other expenses include providing office space, a desk, computer, payroll taxes, vacation and sick time, and other expenses.    

Hiring someone part time could be an even bigger problem! Part time employees can be very undependable creating security and trust issues. 

When you consider the TRUE cost of maintaining an in house accounting department, and keeping a person fulltime when they may only be needed part time; you will find that our services are affordable and efficient; saving you time and money.   

We will provide you with reliable accounting and bookkeeping services at a better value than an employee.

How do I get started?

First, call us at (954) 559-0876 to schedule an appointment for a consultation. We will work with you to tailor a custom accounting package for you; there are a few simple steps to getting started:

  1. We will meet with you to learn what your business is about.  We want to get a good understanding of what your goals are and how you plan to accomplish them.  We will put together an accounting package that works with your plans for growth and success.

  2. We will ask you a series of questions about your business’ financial status so that we may set up your account accurately.

  3. We will pick up your source documents and your QuickBooks® file (if any); to setup your account.  We can do all your accounting for you, we can work with you, or we can coach you on how to do your own accounting.

  4. Once we have agreed on all aspects of your new accounting package, and we have received the initial setup fee; we will begin to handle your accounting and bookkeeping on a monthly basis. 

After balancing your books at the end of every month, we will sit with you to discuss your financial situation and review the financial reports with you so that you begin to understand how the reports can help you make informed financial decisions.  

How will my day-to-day operations be impacted?
The impact on the day-to-day operations is minimal. Once we have become familiar with your business and the company file is setup the process is straightforward.

We will pick up copies of your source documents every month. We will then update your files and on a monthly basis you will be provided with detail financial `statements and aging reports to help you manage your business more effectively. Remember, we will review all financial statements with you on a monthly basis!

How much will I have to pay for bookkeeping service?
Our unique processes allow us to provide small and early stage businesses with the advantages of working with a qualified accountant at an affordable price.
 

Once we become familiar with your business through our initial consultation, we set a flat monthly rate for bookkeeping services.  

Additional services such as business assessments or loan package preparation are priced on an ad hoc basis
